I had a wonderful morning walk through Idlewild Park this morning. Baby squirrels were frolicking about in the green grass. Canadian Geese were being their messy selves expecting to be fed by people. Joggers were out on the path, jogging. Turtles were swimming slowly about the pond with just their noses breaching the surface of the calm waters. Volunteers were busy attending to the flower beds. And so much more. It was so peaceful. I was hoping to find the rose garden in full bloom, but it turns out that it’s a little too early in the season for that…
