Dragonflies at the park

I’ve been wanting to get up to the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park for some time. It’s a little out of the way by bus, but I decided this morning to venture out before it got too hot. With camera and tripod in hand, I headed out to the park’s pond. Was expecting to find some exotic waterfowl, like Egrets or Great Blue Herons, but instead only saw Mallard Ducks being fed and these elusive beauties…
