Members of Teamsters Union 533 were back on the picket line today. The third Strike since August. This labor strike was about pay. With the cost of living rising by 6+ percent, Keolis Transit was offering a mere 4% increase on their proposed 3 year contract. Members of the Union overwhelmingly voted against accepting the proposal and parked buses at 11:00AM.
It was no surprise that there would be some angry stranded bus riders. One angry member of the bus riding public was clearly frustrated with bus drivers on the picket line…
