The Northern California Volleyball Association is holding its annual tournament here at the Reno Sparks Convention Center. Ever been in a giant convention hall with thousands of screaming girls with volleyballs flying everywhere? Always on the lookout for a wayward ball. This annual event takes place over a three week period, three 3 day weekends. Nine days total of non-stop action. Spectators are welcome with tickets going for $20 per day or $50 for 3 days. Seniors get in for $5. That’s my kind of bargain. Of course free would be preferable. And for my coverage of the event, that would be a bargain for them. I may do one more day next weekend as I love the challenge capturing the fast unpredictable action. And I like capturing the facial expressions of the people and athletes as well, win or lose.
