I recently covered some of the Professional Bowlers Association – PBA WSOB XVI World Championship held here at the Reno National Bowling Stadium (NBS). Jared Polin, who I’ve followed on YouTube for a number of years, was at the tournament photographing two of his favorite pro bowlers, EJ Tackett and Jason Belmonte. I thought I’d take advantage of the situation and photograph the master photographer at work. I think at some point he got annoyed by it, but never approached me to inquire what I was doing or who I worked for.

Since I didn’t originally post the event here on this website when it happened, I’ll add some of those images here as well. I was told I wasn’t allowed to photograph the live broadcast event with my “professional” equipment, but I managed to shoot these from way up on what remains of the original stadium part of the building.
