Union Pacific Rail Yard empty of Intermodal Container Freight

Like a ghost town, the UP Rail Yard is basically empty of Intermodal container freight that usually comes through here from the Oakland International Container Terminal. All I see are tankers and empty container rail cars on the far side. On any given day there would be several rail cars on the three sets of tracks near me being offloaded by the yard’s Container Material Handlers and loaded onto trailers. But this week it’s been eerily quiet. Could it be because of someone’s tariff war?
