The Nevada Department of Wildlife was out on the construction site catching anything that was alive in the pools of water left from the damming of the river and transferring anything they caught to the active side of the river. They were catching mostly minnows by first stunning and then netting them. Soon this area will be bone dry to facilitate the upcoming demolition phase of the first of the two bridges scheduled for replacement.
