We had a fast moving thunderstorm move through the area last night that caused mud slides and storm drain backups that caused streets and intersections to flood. It also caused havoc with our bridge build site. A storm drain, that normally empties into the river, was being rerouted using a 12 inch pipe around the temporary dam built to protect the build site. The storm was so intense, it overwhelmed both the pipe and the smaller of the two Aqua Dams and caused flood waters to fill the build site. There’s probably 12-15 feet of water in the deepest sections covering all of the newly poured concrete.
