The Biggest Little Latin Festival is a celebration of the Latin heritage sponsored by the Silver Legacy, Eldorado, and Circus Circus Reno Casinos. Located on the Mezzanine, it is billed as a lively event featuring drink Specials, local vendors showcasing unique goods, and free live entertainment and performances.

Even though I was able to capture these images from the first of two days of festivities, this year’s festival seemed to lack luster. Far fewer vendors lined up along the mezzanine and the performers didn’t appear as festive as in previous years. I went down to the casino on Saturday to capture more of the festivities, but didn’t see any dancing or music from the mariachi bands in the hour or so I was there. It just wasn’t festive.
