This was an event I covered back in January 2024 at the Reno Sparks Livestock Events Center. It was a free event for spectators. Well, I perceived it to be. I entered the venue and wasn’t told there was a spectator fee. Anyway, there’s another event scheduled for January 2026, the National Pole Vault Summit 2026, and this one has an advertised spectator fee. I have paid to get into sporting events to photograph them, but only because I got to take advantage of my age and tickets were highly discounted for Seniors ($25 for Adults, $5 for Seniors). But this upcoming event is a little too pricey for me with absolutely no discounts. They don’t even have a media credential availability. So I thought I’d share these images from 2024.

Maybe someone from the front office of this upcoming event will see these and consider inviting me to the event.
