The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) was busy…

…inspecting the Lake Street bridge spanning the Truckee River today with their articulated boom. This bridge had it’s road bed recently completely resurfaced, but still has structural issues that need checked for deterioration periodically.

UPDATED 4/27 Another day and another bridge (Arlington Street Bridge) being inspected with that crazy articulating boom.
