Sadly, the station isn’t immune to the homeless problem we have here in Reno. Both ends of the trench are open and the homeless will often find refuge by pitching their tents along the walls of the concrete structure. The emergency escape stairwell leading up to the street level appears to be another favorite refuge for the homeless. And because the door leading into the space happened to be open, I was able to document the eyesore.
