I believe this is the 40th year for this event. This was the first day for the downtown Reno area. These images were shot in the early evening when most car owners had left for dinner. Thursday will be the first evening there will be an organized cruise down Virginia Street. The entertainment stage on 4th Street is a little like a prison yard. They have double fencing setup everywhere, between the stage and the audience and up each side of the open seating area, with signs forbidding standing and/or dancing. Imagine not dancing to 60’s and 70’s music.
