An unfortunate situation…

My apartment building was put into an unfortunate situation that forced the entire building to be displaced and put in hotel rooms. Because a fire sprinkler went off (not due to fire) and flooded several apartments as a result, all 42 senior tenants were relocated to either a hotel room or with relatives. Thankfully at the owners expense. I, being the photographer that I am, had to take a few snapshots of my room (using my 10mm Fisheye Lens) and the view from my 8th floor room (70-200mm).

Most of the tenants were back in their apartments after one night. Unfortunately a few are having major repairs done to walls, ceilings and floors. Making me rethink my situation. With a number of binders with hundreds of photographic prints of mine stored on the floor of my one bedroom apartment, I probably should consider storing them, at minimum, off the floor. If not somewhere else. I have a crazy upstairs neighbor that could cause something similar to happen to my apartment
