This wannabe surfer lost control of his board, which didn’t have a leash attached, and watched it drift down river. For some reason he didn’t jump in after it. Instead just stood there. I’m guessing the water was a little too cold on his bare skin? A construction worker watching this all unfold, attempted to get ahead of the board and with a stick tried to snag it as it floated by. But it was too far out. Because the river was running fast and furious, due to the recent rains, I’m guessing the board was lost forever. Where is the Hasty Team when you need them.
