The Legion Sports Fest, a mega fitness expo normally held at the convention center, was held at the downtown Reno Ballroom and Event Center. It spanned three city blocks, involving 10 sports and 2,000 athletes. There were lots of bodybuilders, power lifters, wrestlers, and Muay Thai fighters. Most events were held inside the Ballroom and Event Center and were ticketed events. Cameras not allowed in the indoor events. I covered the outdoor events, including the the Globe of Death, the Strongman/woman competition and food trucks.
