Another year of the annual Best of the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off in Sparks started this week. The 6 day event features numerous vendors of BBQ ribs and side dishes, vying for the crowd’s vote for the best. And of course, there’s the musical entertainment. Wednesday’s and Thursday’s are usually relatively quiet, but Friday’s and Saturday’s are the days that are usually unbearable for me. Just too much. So far, this year, it hasn’t been that bad. Or maybe I’ve just become more tolerable to crowd size?
